Chipping Norton is a handsome market town, and civil parish in the Cotswolds, West Oxfordshire. The Rollright Stones, a stone circle 2.5 miles north of Chipping Norton, and is evidence of prehistoric habitation in the area. In the middle ages wool made the Cotswolds one of the wealthiest part of England. Many medieval buildings built in the town as a result of that trade.
